Dr. Robert Pulliam
Dr. Robert Pulliam is a board certified periodontist who has been practicing in Nashville, Tennessee for 25 years. He earned his Bachelors in Science in pharmacy at the University of Mississippi. Prior to becoming a periodontist, he worked for two years as a hospital pharmacist in Tuscaloosa Alabama at DCH Regional Medical Center. Upon deciding to pursue dentistry, he earned his dental degree at the University of Alabama Birmingham school of dentistry and his masters in periodontics at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. With Nashville as his chosen destination, he established his current periodontics practice there in 2000. Dr. Pulliam has served on many dental boards in Nashville which include President of the Nashville Dental Society; Chairman of the Interfaith Dental Clinic Board; Member of the Tennessee Dental Association; Member of the Southern Academy Of Periodontology; Member of the American Academy Of Periodontology; Member of the International College of Dentists; Member of the American College of Dentists. During his 25 years of practice, he has been voted Best Nashville Dentist multiple times. His personal interests include outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, motocross and golf. Most importantly, he enjoys his three beautiful daughters, family and friends in the Nashville area. It considered it a privilege to serve the Nashville community and enjoys meeting and treating patients while striving to provide the best in periodontal care in Tennessee.
Dr. David Meister
David Meister, DMD, MS, received his dental education that the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, graduating with high distinction. After 8 years in Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Meister elected to continue his education in periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Meister is practicing periodontics in the Nashville area, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is committed to delivering the best, most advanced care possible to his patients. His practice involves the full spectrum of periodontal therapy, dental implant site preparation, dental implants, and IV sedation.
Dr. Jeff PEnner
Jeff Penner, DDS, MS, received his dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, graduating at the top of his class. He completed further dental training through residency in periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Penner is committed to providing state of the art dental care to his patients in a safe, comfortable environment. His recent research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Periodontal - the premier journal within the field of periodontics. Dr. Penner is also an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and Nashville Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Penner enjoys dining out, hiking, biking and scuba diving. .
DR James M. Fili
James M. Fili, DDS, MS received his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry following the footsteps of his father and brothers. After practicing as a general dentist for 4 years, he enrolled at the University of Iowa Dental School Periodontics program. He had his own periodontal practice for 19 years in Iowa when he decided to move closer to family in Nashville. He is happy to join Dr. Pulliam, Dr. Meister, and Dr. Penner to continue providing optimum periodontal and implant care to the patients. .
